100/1000 MB Network Interface Card (NIC)

Cable/DSL high-speed Internet access
Office Email address.
Windows XP Professional
Windows 7 Home Premium (stand-alone non networked)
Windows 7 Professional (Multiple networked computers)

Note: Installing Quadra on a system that does not meet the minimum system requirements may cause Quadra to run slow and/or behave undesirably.

Internet Access
Quadra software maintenance updates (Service-Packs) are available for download from this website, and clients are being notified via email when new service-packs are available. Email is also extensively used for support purposes, including notifications from the Canadian Dental Association.

Having internet access in the office may be somewhat controversial for all kinds of reasons, however, the ability to access this website and to send and receive email is an integral part or our support policy. Some offices have opted not to use the internet at the office, but use for example the doctor's home internet access and email instead. Home internet users can burn the Quadra service-pack onto a CD-R, CD-RW or copy to ZIP disc and take it to the office for installation.      

 
Hardware Purchase & Support
We do not have strategic alliances with hardware vendors and we don't provide computer hardware support and software support other than Quadra as part of the Quadra Maintenance and Support option. We encourage local business support, and your office may already have a local business that looks after your current computer needs. In the event that you can not find a reputable local computer vendor, we recommend DELL computer hardware with a 3-year onsite support package.
